Diverse Planning was founded by Shauleen Johnson, who is passionate about providing quality resources for children and teachers. Our mission is to support teachers in creating inclusive learning environments by emphasising the importance of diversity in education. Our brand values include Improvement, Quality, and Diversity.

Diverse Planning offers a wide range of lesson planning resources sourced from books that feature characters from diverse ethnic backgrounds. These resources not only save teachers time but also promote representation and cultural exposure for children. By providing books with diverse characters and stories from around the world, Diverse Planning allows children to see themselves reflected in the literature they read and learn about different countries and cultures. This approach promotes inclusivity and broadens their perspectives, creating a more enriching learning experience.
